Anita Delaney has been selected as the participant in this year's artist residency programme run in partnership with Temple Bar Gallery & Studios, Dublin and Helsinki International Artist-in-residence Programme (HIAP), Finland.
Delaney will be spending August and September in Suomenlinna, Helsinki on the production of new moving image work based on research undertaken there.
This residency is made possible with support from Temple Bar Gallery & Studios, Helsinki International Artist-in-residence Programme and the Irish Arts Council, An Comhairle Ealaion.

Carte Blanche for Gloria Zein: I Can't Stop The Dancing Chicken
Inspired by the Goethe-Institut’s film archive, artist Gloria Zein has chosen a selection of films from the past 50 years to explore the spaces of freedom that enable and result from attempts of resistance.  

A number of screenings will be accompanied by short works by the artists Fiona Chambers, Marcus Coates and Anita Delaney and by director Helke Sander.
